Leading Dutch digital design agencies share examples and their vision on how immersive experiences can contribute to the world and society.
The Dutch Digital Design foundation invites leading digital agencies to reflect on the question if, and how immersive design can make the world a better place. Does XR introduce the tools for more empathy? Better education? A lower carbon footprint? Speakers on stage will be from Dutch agencies Fabrique, Capitola, Ambassadors and code d'azur, they will share how AR, VR and interactive installations contribute to the world and society. This will be followed by networking drinks with speakers, attendees and organization.
CreativeNL and New Dutch Wave are joining forces for SXSW 2024.
The event is co-organized by CreativeNL and the Dutch trade mission New Dutch Wave. The session will be moderated by Suzanne Visser, board member of the foundation.

Several agencies, partners of the Dutch Digital Design collective, will each share examples of immersive, augmented and virtual realities. They will also discuss commercial VS ‘for good’: the potential contribution of immersive (VR/AR/XR) towards helping resolve social issues - for a better world.

- Anna Offermans, UX Director and Jeroen van Erp, Innovation Strategist at Fabrique

- Diederik Veelo, Chief Innovation Officer at Ambassadors

The event will close with networking drinks with all the speakers, attendees, and the organization. This will take place right outside the roof terrace of the Thompson Hotel.
